A tight clumping Heliconia. The two-toned maroon and golden-yellow bracts together with clean maroon coloured stems makes this heliconia a real stand out in the the garden. One of the more cold tolerant species of heliconia. Grows to 2-3m high. Full sun to part shade. Prefers well-drained rich soil. Good cut flower.
